Recently published data show excellent medium and long term success rates for treating BPH.

The results of this study, published in August 2016 in the renowned Journal of Vascular and Interventional Radiology, are highly significant because for the first time, the long term effects (up to 6.5 years after embolisation) have been studied.

The study shows excellent results, with an improvement of all objective parameters of symptomatic BPH, high clinical success rates, with no urinary incontinence or sexual dysfunction.

This is important because the prostate artery anatomy is highly variable, even from left to right sides within the same person.
